Nicole Shanahan is a lawyer and entrepreneur. The California-based attorney is also the president of the Bia-Echo Foundation, which fights for reproductive equality, criminal justice reform, and a healthy planet.

According to LinkedIn, she graduated from the Santa Clara University School of Law with a law degree. Before that, she went to the National University of Singapore.

Shanahan had started her career at Aeon Law (Formerly Axios Law Group). In past, she has also worked in Longan Law Firm, Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP, Rutan & Tucker, LLP, RPX Corporation, and many more.

Shanahan was on news in 2021 after throwing a grand Studio 54 party at Zero Bond. The bash was a celebration of the post-pandemic. Her guest also included famous personalities like Elon Musk, Shawn Mendes, Jared Leto, and Dave Portnoy.

According to the sources, Shanahan is currently in her late thirty years. Meanwhile, her husband, Sergey Brin is currently 48 years old.

Nicole Shanahan and Sergey Brin have decided to end their marriage of four years. They have decided to end their marriage citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple has also asked the joint custody of their daughters and not seeking any support from Shanahan.

According to the NY Post, the court filings “emphasize Brin and Shanahan’s desire for secrecy around the proceedings, and they have attempted to have much of the case placed under seal.”

The filings from Brin's lawyer also note: “Petitioner is a co-founder of Google and one of the wealthiest and most famous technology entrepreneurs in the world. Because of the high-profile nature of their relationship, there is likely to be a significant public interest in their dissolution and child custody issues,”

Interestingly, this is the second divorce of Sergey Brin who split with his first wife Anne Wojcicki in 2015. She is the co-founder of 23andMe. Two have been co-parenting their two children. Their relationship failed after Brin had an affair with Amanda Rosenberg, a Google employee.

The net worth of Nicole Shanahan is expected to increase once her divorce will be finalized. Thus, it could also be one of the most expensive divorces of all time.

As of 2022, her husband Sergey Brin is the seventh richest man on Earth. His current net worth is $93 billion USD.

The case filings, however, have not specified any jointly owned properties of the couple or how will they be divided. They are expected to use private judges whose fees are around $950 with an extra $300 per hour for a legal assistant.
