Piff The Magic Dragon, whose real name is John van der Put is married to his wife, Jade Simone. Jade is an actress and a showgirl, who is working as an assistant to Piff The Magic Dragon.

She is also known for Tournament of Laughs (2020), Magic Trick or Treat (2017), and Penn & Teller: Fool Us (2011). From an early age, Simone had dreamed of working in Radio City Music Hall.

Jade has been watching the Rockettes in their televised Christmas specials since she was a small child in Dallas. Every day, she practiced her kicks in preparation for the inevitable moment when she, too, would become a Rockette.

Unfortunately, the Rockette venture did not pan out. Jade was a quarter-inch too short.

Jade rose to prominence as a Vegas showgirl, MC, and burlesque performer in shows such as Sizzle of Las Vegas and others across the country.

She was soon offered the chance to perform at Radio City Music Hall. She performed on America's Got Talent alongside Piff the Magic Dragon and Mr. Piffles, the "World's First Magic Performing Chihuahua."

Van der Put became The Flamingo's resident performer in late 2015, and the "Bugsy's Cabaret" theater was renamed the "Piff the Magic Dragon Theater."

With a three-year contract, Piff's show moved to the much larger (700-seat) Flamingo Showroom in October 2020.
