When the US Capitol stormed, the FBI started looking into whether the bitcoin money was used to fund any crimes. He has been taken off several social media platforms, payment processors, and other businesses.

Nick’s YouTube channel got demonetized in January 2020. He has previously got banned from Twitch and Reddit.

Before February 14, 2020, his YouTube channel got shut down for breaking hate speech guidelines.

In January 2020, Time claimed that Fuentes was the most popular live streamer on the DLive platform.
