Manpreet Singh was arrested on Monday evening along with five others as a suspect in the singer Sidhu Moose Wala's murder case.

Unknown assailants attacked Moose Wala on Sunday and also shot the late rapper's two security personnel.

The named suspect Singh was detained in Uttarakhand by the Punjab Police, who have now dedicated their force to punishing the singer-politician's culprits.

Singh was produced before the court and has been sent to five days police remand, as reported by News ABP Live.

Meanwhile, Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for Moose Wala's murder through a Facebook post. However, officials have yet to confirm the Facebook user's identity as a gangster.

Likewise, a notorious name in the underworld, Lawrence Bishnoi, is also said to be involved in the murder. The police are investigating this matter closely, including looking over Brar and Bishnoi.
