Malika Andrews grew up with her sibling Kendra Andrews in Oakland. Kendra and Malika have only 3 years age gap.

On January 2021, the media writer left the sports magazine and moved to NBC Sports Bay Area & California as a coverer For the Golden State Warriors and worked for 15 months.
