Harold Ford Jr Is An American Financial Managing Director
Despite his forays into politics, Harold Ford Jr saw the most success as a financial managing director.
He started his job as a financial managing director in 2011 after he started working for Morgan Stanley in the managing director position.
At the same time, he kept a strong foothold in the political world too as he frequently appeared on many politically-related programs on television like Meet The Press by NBC and other channels like MSNBC, CNBC, and CNN.
His foray into the financial world was very successful, and he worked at Morgan Stanley for over seven years, until 2017, before deciding to move on from the position.
Unfortunately, the end of his tenure at Morgan Stanley saw some controversy, as various news reports mistakenly stated that he had been fired from the company due to some misconduct of an inappropriate nature.

This was not the case, and thankfully, Morgan Stanley issued a statement promptly the next month informing media outlets and the public that no inappropriate misconduct took place.
Still, Ford Jr sued Morgan Stanely for the damages done to his reputation, and in January of the next year, 2018, The New York Times reported that the former managing director and his previous employers had reached a legal agreement.
Ford Jr's foray into the world of finance did not end there.
As recently as 2020, he was named PNC Financial Services' Vice Chairman of Corporate & Institutional banking.
In order to be closer to the company, he and his family now reside in New York City.
