Most of his career earnings come from his famous culinary channel, Babish Culinary Universe.

Even though the account was created back in 2006, the videos related to cooking weren't uploaded till 2016. After struggling with depression for some time, he decided to purchase $4000 in filming equipment to begin his cooking journey again. 

Andrew started filming in his apartment by making different smoothie videos without showing his face. This way of filming has been his signature style. On February 10, 2016, Andrew posted his first video Binging with Babish, inspired by Parks and Recreation's Burger cook-off.

After his channel got 100,000 subscribers, he partnered with his good friend and former attorney, Sawyer Carter Jacobs.

He opened a new cooking channel on YouTube known as Basics with Babish, which was mostly directed toward amateur chefs and learners.

He analyzed and found out that most of his viewers were males, and 80 percent of them were between the age group of 18 to 35. 

During the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown period, Andrew faced the most growth on his cooking channels. His subscriber counts increased from 6 million to 8 million within a few months. 

He announced through an Instagram post that he got engaged to the producer of Babish Culinary Universe, Jess Opon on May 13, 2021. Later, these two sweethearts got married at the 9 million subscribers episode and were coordinated by a famous comedian and Universal Life Church ordained minister Joel McHale. 

His cooking channel, Babish Culinary Universe, now has 9.92 million subscribers and total video views of almost 2.4 billion. His yearly estimated earnings out of YouTube is almost $911,000. 

Andrew Rea is now considered one of the most popular chefs in the world who earns millions of dollars.

Even though his main source of earnings is through YouTube, he is also the author of two books and sells different kitchenwares. 

His estimated monthly earnings it is from $4,700 to $75,900 monthly. He endorses different brands in his cooking show, and he has also collaborated with different people like Alvin Zhou, Kendall Beach, Rick Martinez, and many more.
