Who Is Hussain Manawer? Poet Claims To Be Mamma's Boy But Who Is His Mother

Hussain Manawer speaks of his mother a lot, although has not named her publically.

Manawer has often shared about his lowest and happiest moments of life. He said that after the demise of his mom he suffered severe depression. His mom died five years ago suffering from an instant brain aneurysm. It is a condition when the blood vessels in the brain get leaked or ruptured.

However, since channeling the grief of his mother's passing, he has headlined the likes of Scala London and has toured Pakistan.

As mentioned in the GQ Magazine, the poet had told that he would have attempted suicide after the traumatic event. Although, he fought well.

"My lowest moment was at the end of August last year when my dad called me and said my Mum had passed away."

"Dealing with her death took me to such a place. I was hysterically crying. I was screaming. I was numb. I was in denial. I was neglecting myself. I was cold to the world. That lasted for nine months, but I'm learning to take each day as it comes. "

"When my mum first passed I told my friend to take a week off work and that he needed to sleep in my room because I thought I was going to kill myself."

It is sad for Manawer that his mother has never seen him perform live. Nevertheless, her blessings and teachings are always with him.

Hussain Manawer has an amazing bond with his father. After all, it was his dad who stayed by his side in many of his great achievements.

Manawer has previously stated his parents had raised him in Ilford, a large town in East London. He was, however, born in the East Ham.

His grandparents were born in Pakistan and are natives of Mirpur, Kashmir. At present, the poet travels the world, and when in England, he dwells around Essex and Ilford.

Hussain Manawer has become a quite famous name in London. His estimated net worth in 2022 is around $2 million USD.

Manawer has earned his fortunes as a poet, writer, and actor. He is also a well-known activist and mental health campaigner from Ilford, Essex.

In recent years Manawer has shared global stages with leaders like Justin Trudeau and Kofi Anan. He has performed on the stage with Ed Sheeran.

Along with King's professor Dame Til Wyke, he holds the global record for the world's largest mental health lesson.
