Philadelphia: Who Is Gamara Mosley? Arrested For The Murder Of 73-Year-Old James Lambert
Gamara Mosley is a fourteen-year-old teenager from Philadelphia. She surrendered to authorities on Wednesday to be accused of criminal conspiracy.
The young girl used a traffic cone as a murder weapon to kill the 73-year-old man. According to officials, the teenagers, including Gamara, attacked James Lambert in the 2100 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue on June 24 at 2:38 a.m. They beat the older man up to death and ran away.
According to Fox29 Philadelphia, the incident that happened last month was captured on the security camera on Moore Avenue. The footage shows a 14-year-old girl beating Lambert twice with a traffic cone and maybe another time off-camera.
Per the medical examiner's report, the victim lost his life due to blunt force injuries.
The Philadelphia Police Department released a surveillance video showing the young teenager beating Lambert in the head. The footage also appears to offer one member to use a cellphone to record the incident.
The attorney for Mosley, Lonny Fish, stated, "My client is 14 years old; I would ask that everyone exercise their discretion."
The family of a Philadelphia man who was killed after being beaten by a group of young adolescents is looking for answers to the horrible assault captured on film.
"I simply don't understand what's going on in our community," Lambert's niece Tania Stephens said. "He's traveled that route for 60, 70 years, and to have his life extinguished away like that is terrible."
However, both culprits have not revealed their motive for killing the innocent man.
