But the praise didn't remain for long as she was soon criticized again for appearing to relapse.

In 2016, some people created a petition on Change.org called Temporarily Ban Eugenia Cooney off YouTube. The petition went viral and got 18,000 signatures in it.

The petition was later removed for violating community guidelines. In regards to the petition, Eugenia denied having a problem and stated that she did not intend to be a bad influence on the people.

Similarly, In 2019 the Youtuber was seen as less active on her Youtube and various social media platforms. Due to this, it created a rumor among her fans that she had passed away.
