Tara co-founded the David Suzuki Foundation in 1990 after co-founding or co-founding nine other organizations.
She was a founding member of the Turning Point Initiative, which is now known as the Great Bear Initiative for Coastal First Nations.
According to Tara's Linkedin profile, she has been working at David Suzuki Foundation for 31 years.
This formed a historic alliance between the First Nations of British Columbia's central and northern coasts, defending the Great Bear Rainforest's environment.
The Haida, Gitga'at, Heiltsuk, and Nam'gis First Nations adopted Tara and gave her a name.

On the other hand, David Suzuki married Tara Elizabeth Cullis in a second marriage in 1973, and they had two daughters, Severn Suzuki and Sarika Cullis-Suzuki.

However, David was born on 24 March 1936, and Tara's birth details are nowhere to be found.
