She is the niece of Rick Stein. Rick is an English celebrity chef, restaurateur, writer, and television presenter. Along with his partner, he has run the Stein hotel and restaurant business in the UK.
The artist is attracted to the neolithic chambers that are known as fouguou present in West Cornwall. She could relate to anything while maintaining and trying to reflect that in her artwork.
When she was pregnant, she was thinking about the womb as a space for becoming, She said she found enchantment in Penwith in the holy wells. She loved the running water and natural springs and represent those all in the Wet Room project.
