Kam Babaee Founded His Real Estate Company In 2008
Kam's first job when he moved to the UK was totally different from his profession. He used to work as a taxi driver and helped stacking racks at the local supermarket. His journey toward real estate started from the very bottom too.
He mentioned in an interview that once, he was on a date with a girl and was thinking of getting a car. At the same time, he was walking past a car dealership store, and they had a job advertisement there for a car salesperson.
He went to the store the next day, and they did hire him as a car salesperson. He worked hard before he secured a position in a car dealership. He was a successful car dealer and expanded the cars into 12 different showrooms, which became the peak of his car dealership success. He was among the first dealers who brought Smart Cars to the United Kingdom.
The idea of starting a real-estate business came when he was thinking of starting what people other than the ones who buy his cars do. In 2000, he started utilizing the money he received from the car dealership to purchase apartments around West London. In 2004, he expanded his real-estate business to Central London as well. Babaee used to refurbish the purchased housing, and he used to sell them.
He officially launched his own luxury real estate business, K10 group, in 2008 and leads as a CEO there. The company focuses on quality more than quantity and only works with two to three real-estate projects per year. The company mainly focuses on luxury and trophy assets along with complex sites.
Kam uses his artistic talents to bring his visions into action and works on national and international levels. In 2010, he bought the house of a former ballerina, Dame Margot Fonteyn, for 22 million pounds, and he spent almost 39 million pounds on further renovations. There he added a swimming pool, sauna, and more.
He is known as the strongest real estate agent in the United Kingdom.
