Czech-American businesswoman Ivana Trump, Donald Trump's ex-wife died at the age of 73. The former president of the US confirmed the news on his social networking platform, Truth Social.

Ivana Trump died of a suspected cardiac arrest. At around 12:30 pm Thursday, July 14, Manhattan paramedics responded to a call of cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, they found the 73-year-old in the Upper East Side apartment.

According to NYPD, the former wife of Donald Trump was found unconscious and unresponsive at the bottom of the stairs in her apartment and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Medical examiners will determine the cause of her death, police said, they are also investigating whether the fall contributed to her death or whether she fell into it.

Trump wrote on his social profile that he was very saddened by Ivana's passing. She led a great and inspirational life and was a beautiful, amazing, and wonderful woman.

Ivana Trump was the mother of three children with Donald Trump. The couple was parents to Donald Trump Jr. (born December 31, 1977), Ivanka (born October 30, 1981), and Eric Trump (born January 6, 1984).

Donald Trump met Ivana for the first time in 1976 when she was with a group of models in New York City. They dated for a year and after which they decided to marry on April 7, 1977. The wedding ceremony took place at Marble Collegiate Church, officiated by Norman Vincent Peale.

The couple worked together on several projects, including the renovation of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York, the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, and the construction of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The estimated net worth of Ivana Trump is $300 million. She was a successful businesswoman and earned a decent amount of money through her business ventures.

Ivanka developed a line of clothing, fashion jewelry, and beauty products after her divorce from Trump. Her products were featured on tv shopping channels such as Home Shopping Network and QVC London. She was also the president of a fashion and fragrance company, House of Ivana. The company's showroom was located on Park Avenue in New York.

The Czech-born businesswoman also had a business venture in Croatia that included the 33% of the country's second-largest daily newspaper.

According to The New York Times, the 1992 divorce settlement included $14 million, an apartment in the Trump Plaza, a 45-room Connecticut mansion, and the use of Mar-a-Lago for one month a year.
