The head of artist and talent relations head at Spotify is also Ebony Sun Entertainment's co-CEO. He made his mark in music and entertainment for over twenty years and began his career while attending Clark Atlanta University.
Before joining Spotify in 2019, Chaka Zulu served as the Vice President of Entertainment & Sports Marketing at Monster and worked as an executive producer on the BET docu-series Inside the Label.
Beginning his career as an intern for various record labels and as an on-air personality for WRFG, Zulu headed on to become the Music Director and an on-air personality for Atlanta's Hot 97.5 (now 107.9) radio station. Zulu co-founded Disturbing Tha Peace Records with hip-hop artist Ludacris.

Atlanta Music Exec Shot Overnight In Buckhead: True Or Not?
Chaka Zulu, a longtime manager, was shot during a dispute in a Buckhead, Atlanta parking lot.
As confirmed by the Atlanta Police Department, he was gunned down on Monday morning on June 26 or 27. Chaka Zulu was one of three men shot in a parking lot on Sunday at Peachtree Road in Atlanta around 11:35 p.m.
It is found that three people became the victims of the shooting, among whom one man was killed during the shooting. In contrast, Chaka and a second unnamed victim were transported to a local hospital to undergo surgery. The triple shooting occurred outside of a restaurant called Apt4b after a dispute occurred between the victims and the shooters.
Chaka Zulu's followers pray that he pulls through and will make a full and complete recovery soon.
