Mark Satterthwaite is a Canadian writer and director. Satterthwaite was born in Toronto.

He grew up in Ontario with his family and attended a nearby high school. After graduating, he worked in small commercials ads. Later Mark joined the Humber Collge in 1999.

In 2000, he completed his post-graduate diploma with honors in Television writing and production. After completing his post-graduation, he began working on short movies and TV series.

First, he produced and directed the TV series 'The X' in 2004. Afterward, he wrote the script for the TV series 'My Parent's House.' Later on, till 2010, Mark worked in numerous TV series and short movies including 'The Morgan Waters Show' and 'The Dating Guy.'

The TV special 'Canada's Smartest Person' of 2012 was the last show he worked on as director. He entirely focused his career on writing and producing. In 2013, he the script of 7 episodes of 'Grojband.'

In 2018-2019, Mark wrote and produced the TV series 'Cupcake & Dino: General Services.' He wrote all 27 episodes of the series and produced them. In 2020, he was nominated for the Canadian Screen Award in the category of best-animated series.

Later in 2021, Satterthwaite wrote the script for the TV series 'Middlemost Post.' He is affiliated with the Tele series 'Gaary and His Demons.' The Canadian producer has written 25 episodes of the show.
