Conrad Khan plays Erasmus 'Duke' Shelby, the estranged firstborn son of Thomas Shelby and Zelda in Peaky Blinders. He is the half-brother of Charles and Ruby Shelby.

When Zelda became pregnant with Thomas' kid, her father shot Thomas in the chest with a squirrel pistol.

Her father planned to murder Thomas, but Thomas was shipped away to serve in WWI and never saw Zelda again.

Zelda gave birth to their son, Erasmus, in early 1915, who was born with hazel eyes.

The words "Saxon Shore" were inscribed on the watch Zelda took from Thomas, so she informed Erasmus that his father was the Duke of the Saxon Shore.

As a consequence, Erasmus changed his name to 'Duke,' and he dislikes it when others call him by his original name.

Actor Conrad Khan was born in Germany to a German mother and a Pakistani father. His mom worked as a lecturer in fashion history at Central St Martins, while his father worked in health policy.

The actor is of Pakistani-German ethnicity and has British nationality. As a sibling, he has a little sister who is 10 years old.
