Who Killed Rosanne Boyland? Family Seeking For Answers For Their Daughter's Death In Capitol Riot

Rosanne Boyland was one of three persons who died after being trampled during the Capitol riots on January 6, 2021.

Rosanne Boyland was from Kennesaw, Georgia. She was unmarried and considered a wonderful and dedicated aunt by family members. She was seen frequently babysitting her friends' children or picking up her nieces from school.

Intimates describe her as caring, sensitive, and close to her parents and siblings. She also had a history of opiate and heroin addiction, and she often attended meetings to help her with drug abuse concerns.

She had done odd jobs throughout the years, but it was difficult for her to get stable work since she had an arrest record, including a felony conviction for a drug-related violation. She was mostly unemployed and lived with her parents.

Podcast: Who Killed Rosanne Boyland?

Rosanne Boyland was alleged to have been trampled to death during the violent rioting at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. The bands of pro-Trump insurgents attempted and failed to disrupt the declaration of President Joe Biden's victory.

MSNBC anchor Ayman Mohyeldin and producer Preeti Varathan launched the popular podcast 'American Radical' in December. The program delved into the little-known story of Rosanne Boyland, one of three individuals killed in the rampage.

The New York Times reported mere days after the insurgency that Boyland "appears to have been slain in a crush of fellow rioters during their effort to fight past a police line, according to recordings obtained by The Times."

According to the Times, the chief medical examiner in DC at the time stated that Boyland's cause and manner of death were "pending."

Rosanne Boyland Family Asks Answers For Her Death In Capitol Riot

Rosanne Boyland's family ask for answers about her death in the Capitol riot, as early reports stated she was crushed to death amid the throng.

However, the DC medical examiner finally determined that her death was caused by an amphetamine overdose.

The Washington Post originally reported on April 7, 2021, that Boyland's death was caused by "accidental acute amphetamine poisoning" by the DC medical examiner.

Rosanne Boyland Parents Today

Rosanne Boyland's parents reportedly begged her not to attend the riot on the day she died. Her family is currently residing in Kennesaw, Georgia.

During a violent battle between protesters and police, Boyland was forced to the ground and crushed, according to a friend who was with her.

However, her sister stated that a police investigator informed the family that Boyland fainted while standing off to the side in the Capitol Rotunda.

Cave, Boyland's sister, stated that her sister had no intention of committing violence when she flew to Washington.

Similarly, she joined the conspiracy group QAnon and refused to accept that Joe Biden had defeated President Trump.
