There is no information on whether he committed suicide, as police are investigating the incident.

The collision occurred in Hervey Range, roughly 50 kilometers from Townsville, and is being investigated by police.

The car was being driven on Hervey Range Road, near Alice River Bridge, just after 11 p.m. when it left the roadway and rolled, Queensland Police said in a statement.

Emergency services came to rescue Andrew but he died as a result of his injuries.

On Saturday night, Andrew Symonds was killed in an automobile accident on Hervey Range Road near the Alice River Bridge in Queensland, Australia.

The collision occurred at the Ellis River bridge. Symonds was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Doctors at the hospital attempted everything they could to save him, but they were unsuccessful.

Symonds becomes the third Australian cricketer to pass away unexpectedly this year. The cricket world was shocked to learn of this tragic news.

Andrew's family sent a letter on Sunday morning confirming the tragic news of their son, thanking well-wishers for their messages and requesting privacy.
