Why Does Seal's Face Have Scars?
Seal is a prominent singer, but the scars on his face make people wonder how he got that.
The scars on his face are due to discoid lupus erythematosus disease. The disease is a common chronic skin lupus condition in which the person has red, painful, inflamed, and coin-shaped patches of skin.

The patches on the skin also have a scaly and crusty appearance and can be mostly seen on the scalp, cheeks, and ears.
Similarly, one of the complications of the illness is that people suffering from the disease with darker-skinned patients are highly prone to severe scarring and skin color changes even after the lesions get better.
The singer has talked about the scars on his face with the Guardian. He revealed that he got it due to suffering from discoid lupus erythematosus disease.
He got the disease when he was 21 years old and didn't give much thought to it as he was unaware of it. He later went to a doctor in Harley Street and got to know about the condition he was suffering from.
The doctors prescribed him the required tablets, which helped him get lupus away but left him with scars. He is proud of his faults and has not been disheartened by them.
He called the scars on his face battle marks and told his children he got while fighting to defeat evil demons.
