Who Is Vicki Bevan From St Helens? Woman Arrested For Sexually Abused Girl With Two Men

Vicki Bevan "instigated and organized" the victim's abuse with two men, Paul Rafferty and Tony Hutton, according to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

Images of the sexual abuse, including the rape, were discovered on Bevan's phone and shared among the St Helens trio.

Bevan also spread the images on the Kik Messenger platform, and she initiated conversations with the two men about "sexual abuse, rape, and child torture," according to the CPS.

One of the men asked her if she had any boundaries, and she replied, "No, none at all..."

The abuse was discovered after another man was arrested on speculation of possessing indecent images of children over a two-year period. His phone was examined, and images of Bevan's abuse were discovered.

Police also discovered a video of the 37-year-old woman sexually abusing the child. According to prosecutors, the "level of depravity... shocked the CPS team that worked on the case."

Merseyside Police said that when officers raided Vicki Bevan's home, they discovered laptops and a mobile phone containing several indecent images of children that had been shared with Hutton and Rafferty.

Bevan was arrested in October of last year and pleaded guilty in January to 34 charges, including rape, two counts of sexual assault, and four counts of sexual assault by penetration.

Rafferty had some prior convictions but none related to child sexual abuse, whereas Bevan and Hutton had none.

Following the sentences, chief Crown prosecutor Pauline Newrick described the case as "one of the worst" she had ever worked on.

Judge Menary stated before the sentencing that any "blame sharing" claim made by Bevan in her defense, that she was "led on" by the others, would not be accepted.

Bevan smiled and laughed with the prison officers in the dock prior to actually wiping away tears with a white tissue when the judge entered court in March.

Vicki Bevan was convicted to life in prison with a minimum term of ten years at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday after admitting to 34 sexual offenses and being seen laughing in the dock during a previous hearing.

Rafferty, 62, was sentenced to ten years in prison with a four-year extension after pleading guilty to nine sexual offenses, including the rape of the girl.

Hutton, 42, was sentenced to four years in prison after admitting to four sexual offenses, including child sexual assault.
