Recently, Kate returned to Saturday Night Live, as Dr. Anthony Fauci in the chilly opener after a seven-episode vacation. The talk show was without its American host for the first seven episodes of its current season while she focused on other ventures.

Kyle Mooney was raised by his family in San Diego, California, The United States. He currently resides in New York. 

The American writer was the youngest of three boys raised by his parents, Linda and Brian Mooney. Brian is an environmental consultant and designer, and Linda is a former journalist for The San Diego Union-Tribune.

Mooney also has two elder brothers named Sean and Ryan and  is nearsighted and left-handed. He was voted the most probable to become a tv star by his Marshall Middle School classmates.

Kyle graduated from Scripps Ranch High School in 2003, where he was named class clown and awarded Best Actor for his performance as Prospero in Shakespeare's The Tempest.

Mooney got his Saturday Night Live debut as a featured player on September 28, 2013. He was promoted to repertory level at the start of the 41st season.

In the summer of 2012, he applied for SNL but was refused and the following season, he auditioned and was approved according to the Wikipedia.

Mooney co-created, co-wrote, and executive produced the adult animated comedy Saturday Morning All Star Hits!, which was published on Netflix in December 2021.
