Adam Pearson is a British actor and activist who appeared in the 2014 Scarlette Johansson starter sci-fi movie Under the Skin. He has facial deformations caused due to neurofibromatosis. He is actively involved in outreach programs to prevent bullying associated with deformities.
He has worked on various television production jobs for the BBC and Channel 4, including the shows Beauty and the Beast and The Undateables, for which he has worked in all five series as a casting researcher.
He has presented the BBC Three documentary series such as Adam Pearson: Freak Show and The Ugly Face of Disability Hate Crime and was nominated as UK Documentary Presenter of the Year at the 2016 Grierson Awards.
