Who Are The Upshaws Journey Christine Parents? Meet Her Mom Selina Scott

Journey Christine from The Upshaws is raised by her mother Celina Scott. Her mother is a freelance makeup artist who used to work for M.A.C Cosmetics. She posed as a Jesus girl, a mother, and a traveler.

Talking about her onscreen parents, Bennie Upshaw and Regina Upshaw, are portrayed by Mike Epps and Kim Fields respectively.

Her character and acting abilities in the series had everyone stunned. Talking about her beautiful daughter, Celina recalled the moment Christine was born with Voyagela.

"When Journey was born, the nurses gathered their friends from other wards of the hospital to see her. The nurses raved over Journey and informed me that she was stunning. Everywhere we went, it occurred."

She added that people would gaze and exclaim at Journey's attractiveness.

Journey's career began when she was 13 months old when she booked her first national ad for Kohl's department store.

She then got her first print modeling work for Disney, where she is a recurring model that shoots with them on a regular basis. Journey proceeded to impress casting directors, landing many further commercials and print jobs.

Journey and her mother seldom discuss her father, who appears to be estranged from them. However, Selina frequently posts about her and other children on her Instagram.

Journey Christine was born in 2013 in the city of Los Angeles, California as the youngest of four siblings. She has mixed origins of African American and Samoan ancestry. 

Journey is close to her three siblings, which include a sister and two boys named Mason and Princeton.

Similarly, she has three siblings in the series, Upshaws. Her younger sister Aaliyah is played by Khali Daniya-Renee Spraggins, her brother Bernard Jr. by Jermelle Simon, and her brother Kelvin by Diamond Lyons.

Journey Christine is a child actress who went to the top after her appearance on Upshaws. She is also a model, recording artist, and Print & runway model. 

Journey commenced her first print work for Vans sneakers when she was 12 months old. She booked her first national commercial for Kohl's department shops one month later.

Journey proceeded to impress casting directors, landing advertisements for Honda, Walmart, and Home Depot, among others. Christine has subsequently collaborated with a number of high-profile businesses, including Disney and Tom Ford. 

Journey has walked in several fashion shows in 2019, including the Los Angeles Spring Summer Fashion Week.

"Let It Snow," Journey's first feature film, was shot in January and will be aired on Netflix this winter.

She has also appeared in two short films, "Moon" and "E.R Compliance," as well as in the Amazon Prime series "Hidden Springs." They all are released in 2019.
