Who Are Brandi Carlile's Parents?
Brandi Carlile was born to her loving parents on June 1, 1981, in Ravensdale, Washington, a small community 30 miles from Seattle.
Carlile played in the woods, made forts, and performed music with her brother Jay and sister Tiffany while growing up in the only house for miles. When she was four years old, Carlile almost died when she developed bacterial meningitis.
She experienced many cardiac failures, and she fell into a coma. Sumner, Black Diamond, Maple Valley, Auburn, and other southern King County communities were where Carlile spent most of her early years. She also temporarily resided in West Seattle.
Tim and Phil Hanseroth, twin brothers, and Carlile began their careers as musicians in Seattle nightclubs. Columbia Records first signed Carlile in 2004 based on the tracks she had been intermittently recording at home.
The self-titled album by Carlile, released in 2005, had both those early tunes and brand-new compositions. 'What Can I Say' was re-recorded for Columbia Records' 2006 re-release.
