He is a business and real estate specialist, writer, professor, television presenter, and presenter on several programs, including A Place in the Sun on Channel 4.

Jonnie Irwin's absence from the program caused alarm among fans as it was revealed that he had sustained a severe injury while filming the Channel 4 program in March.

Jonnie attended A Place In The Sun Live in Manchester when fans worried about his location, posting on Instagram: "We appreciate everyone who visited us at @aplaceinthesunofficial.


Fortunately for fans, it doesn't appear that Jonnie's health problems are preventing him from appearing on the show.

Since 2004, the television personality who has been a regular face on Channel 4 shows has lately disclosed that his goals for presenting have changed as a father of three.

The TV personality acknowledged that despite his desire to spend as much time as possible at home with his three sons, Rafa, Cormac, and Rex, he wouldn't be quitting the lifestyle show anytime soon.

"I intend to continue hosting A Place In The Sun as long as the show is produced. I adore the program.", he said

People think Jonnie Irwin is too lean and his weight loss is due to a disease. However, they are not aware of his slim build.

He attended Lutterworth Grammar School and Community College before enrolling at Birmingham City University to earn a degree in estate management.


Irwin was raised in the Leicestershire village of Bitteswell on a modest farm. He has Irish ancestry.

Irwin enjoys sports very much. He was a rugby player for Lutterworth RFC and Rugby Lions RFC before breaking his back in an accident during a sevens match and retiring as a result.
