In an email to staff reviewed by Reuters on Thursday, Twitter Chief Executive Parag Agrawal revealed that the business's leaders for the consumer segment and revenue will leave the social media platform.

Kayvon, the head of Twitter's consumer division, said his leaving was not his decision in a tweet thread on Thursday. "After letting me know that he wishes to take the team on a different path, Parag requested me to depart," Kayvon tweeted. 

After Twitter acquired Periscope, a live video-broadcasting program he co-founded in 2015, Beykpour joined the firm. Periscope was shut down by Twitter in March 2021, and the live streaming features were folded into the main app.
