What Happened To Ronald Acuna Jr 2022? Where Is He Now

Ronald Acuna Jr has a problem with his left foot after an incident in the Atlanta Brave's June 25, 2022, game against Los Angeles Dodgers. 

During the third innings of the match on Saturday night, where the Braves won 5-3, the Venezuelan player fouled a ball off the top of his left foot. He continued playing until the eighth inning, after which he left the pitch.

Acuna said in an interview that he kept playing until he couldn't stand on his left foot. He was not wearing a protective boot. The foot is not broken, but he cannot put pressure on it.

The outfielder was seen with his knees on a medical scooter on Sunday afternoon in the Braves clubhouse. Manager Brian Snitker said that the injury was just a bruise and that it would be assessed on Tuesday.

The tests showed on fracture, but he cannot put pressure on his foot. So, he missed the current game being held on Sunday night. As of writing, the Dodgers are leading the Braves by 3-2.

In the current game on Sunday, Acuna's spot of the leadoff is being held by Darby Swanson, and Adam Duvall is starting in the right field while Marcell Ozuna is in the left field.

Ronald Acuna Jr is not ill in 2022 but is currently dealing with an issue with his left foot. Despite the problem in his leg, his health is in perfectly fine condition.

The Braves outfielder is prone to injury and had just returned from a torn ACL in his right knee. He tore his ligament in Miami last July when he landed awkwardly while attempting to make a catch in the right field. Atlanta won the World Series as he missed the rest of the season.

After his return from injury, Acuna leads the Braves with 13 stolen bases and is hitting .281 with seven homers and 18 RBIs. He soon hopes to make a full comeback for the Braves.
