Mantas Kvedaravicius' death has left everyone bewildered as to what occurred to him in Ukraine that resulted in his death. He was reported to be killed in Mariupol, Ukraine on April 3, 2022. 

Mantas Kvedaravicius, a 45-year-old Lithuanian filmmaker was killed while attempting to flee the Ukrainian city of Mariupol. He was filming Russian forces' war crimes during that time.

Kvedaravicius was driving a car that was hit by a rocket, he died shortly after being admitted to the hospital.

Mantas Kvedaravicius, a Lithuanian film director was killed while attempting to flee Mariupol, Ukraine. People are paying tribute to the author of the documentary Mariupolis on social media.

Stratcom Center USA wrote, "A documentary filmmaker, was assassinated in #Mariupol while capturing Russian forces' abuses. He had produced award-winning documentaries about Chechnya and other topics."

Among the director's works that have won awards at major European film festivals are Barzakh (2011) about Chechnya and Mariupolis (2016).

The director has returned to the city of Ukraine where he had dedicated his documentary which had shown in Berlin. The documentary features recounting life in the area under the constant threat of conflict between pro-Russian separatists and Ukrainian nationalists.

Mantas's lens focuses on the everyday life of the population who sought to live a normal life despite the war's arrival.

Mariupol, which was besieged shortly after Russia's February 24 invasion, is now Moscow's major goal in Ukraine's Donbas. According to Swissinfo, it is the southeastern territory that includes the Donetsk and Luhansk separatist regions.

Tens of thousands of people are stranded in the city, with no access to food and water.

Mantas Kvedaravicius: A Film Director Death Cause & Obituary- How Did He Die? 

Mantas Kvedaravicius was killed by the Russian troops in assassinated on Saturday in Ukraine's Mariupol. The cause of the death is still not reported, however, it is known that he was murdered ruthlessly. 

A missile, according to Nexta, collided with the filmmaker's car. Kvedaraviius was brought to the hospital, but he was unable to be rescued.

However, the station, which also reported Kvedaravicius' death, stated that it had not yet been formally confirmed.

"Mantas, you were a talented man. A devastating loss for the Lithuanian film community and the entire globe. Our hearts have been crushed "Giedre Zickyte, a Lithuanian documentary film director and producer, shared her thoughts on Facebook.

According to the Lithuanian state broadcaster LRT, Kvedaravicius was born in 1976 and attended Vilnius University. He earned a degree in social anthropology from the University of Cambridge.

His death has come as a shock to everyone, and everybody is recalling all of the excellent works that he has released up to this point.
