Who Is Raul Valle? Fairfield Prep Milford CT Teen Arrested For Jimmy Mcgrath Stabbing Case

Raul Valle is a 16 years old Milford resident who is a student at St. Joseph High School in Trumbull.

Valle has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of James McGrath. Raul faces three counts of first-degree assault as well as murder charges.

Valle appeared in juvenile court in New Haven on Wednesday. His case was moved to adult court in Derby, where he appeared in front of a judge on Thursday morning.

Valle's bail has been set at $2 million. In adult court in Milford on June 7, his case will be heard.

Valle was identified in the warrant for his arrest by Shelton Police Detective Richard Bango.

According to the warrant, around 50 teens attended the home party at Laurel Glen Drive, where officers discovered "several people" with stab wounds on the front lawn.

After Valle appeared in state Superior Court in Derby as an adult on Thursday morning, defense counsel Jake Donovan identified his client.

Valle is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on June 7, according to Donovan.

He was arrested and charged in New Haven Juvenile Court on Wednesday.

He has been charged with murder and three counts of assault in the incident, which occurred late Saturday night at a Shelton home party and sent three other people to the hospital, according to police.

According to the warrant, witnesses told the investigating police that during the party, a dark Honda SUV showed up with three to four people from St. Joseph High School who were not invited.

Raul Valle's parents have expressed their regret to McGrath the victim's family.

The allegations come from a stabbing at a Shelton house party on Saturday night, during which McGrath was killed and three other teenagers were injured.  

According to the warrant, witnesses reported a "physical altercation" when the St. Joseph students exited the van.

The warrant said that "at least one suspect had a knife during the argument and four victims were injured."

McGrath was taken to Bridgeport Hospital and declared dead at 1:10 a.m. Sunday.
