What Happened To Kay Adams, Is She Leaving Good Morning Football?
NFL Network anchor Kay Adams has formally chosen to quit Good Morning Football's show.
On May 12, 2022, she officially announced that she was leaving Good Morning Football.
On May 13, 2022, Adam conducted her final show. On the program, she stated, "I just wanted to invite everyone tomorrow to watch our show and celebrate my last episode. My last three hours here on ‘Good Morning Football."
Adams shared the details on her Twitter account. She described it as the "end of an era" in a tweet, expressing her gratitude and pride at having worked on the show. She also stated that there should be a "party" to commemorate her farewell program.
Since it debuted in August 2016, Adams has been a part of the NFL Network's morning television program, Good Morning Football. The other members of Good Morning Football, in addition to Adams, were Kyle Brandt, Colleen Wolfe, DeAngelo Hall, and Michael Robinson.
In her final days at the show, she spoke about her experience there but ignored to explain why she was leaving Good Morning Football after five years of popularity and hosting.
She termed her experience as a hostess for the show as "very nostalgic." She commented on how proud she felt to have been a part of the program for more than six years and how far the program has come since its debut in 2016.
After she departed the program, Jamie Erdahl, a sideline reporter for CBS Sports, was named the new host of Good Morning Football by NFL Network.
On Monday, July 25, Erdahl formally began her job as she filled Adam's big shoes. Since the football community has been following Adam on the show for six years, Erdahl must perform astonishingly well to carry out Adam's duties. Jason McCourty, another brand-new host, also joined Jamie.
