Vallejo Kennedy of Albany Oregon passed away.

Yesterday, his mother, Sarah Bates, updated her profile picture to that of her son and captioned it, "in loving memory of my sweet son." The people expressed their condolences in its comment section.

A few hours later, a friend of Vallejo's mother, Brandy Hester, organized a fundraiser on GoFundMe to cover the funeral expenses. 

His mom had to take two weeks off from her job to search and the next two to bury him. It added quite a financial burden on her. One hundred and fourteen people have donated so far $5,290.

According to Albany Oregon Police Department's Facebook post on 9 May 2022, the last sightings of the 18-year-old were on 30 April. Since then, he had been missing. 

Many people on social media appealed for help in the search, which ended as a parent's worst nightmare.

The worried parents of Vallejo Kennedy are in despair after knowing that their son had died early.

Police recently found the dead body of the teenager, who had been missing for the past two weeks.

His troubled family members and friends had searched for days and handed out flyers to facilitate the search.

Besides them, other people also joined hands. One Facebook user, Valerie Elaine Stewart, posted a comment made by Desirae McNutt on Albany Happenings.

According to it, South Albany High school was the meeting place for Vallejo's search party. The time was 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, 14 May 2022.

People gathered there and looked around the area where the teenager's phone last pinged and Chartwell Park. 

Vallejo's mother, Sarah, a caregiver, took it the hardest - emotionally and financially. The amount of grief she experiences is probably out of comprehension.

Yes, Vallejo Kennedy was found but sadly his soul had already left the world.

The search result wasn't the happy one for his family. According to a GoFundMe page, the police found him dead. He went missing two weeks ago, wearing a white Space Jam jacket and a black backpack.

The details, including the cause and time of the death, remain unknown. The Albany Oregon Police Department hasn't updated the news. Nevertheless, the confirmation comes from his mother.
