Meet Kwasi Kwarteng's Daughter, Liberty Frances
British politician Kwasi Kwarteng’s daughter is Liberty Frances.
She was born in 2021. However, he has not mentioned much about her. She is not even one year old so it seems he is trying to keep her away from the public and media.
There has not been much news about her, however, she is just an infant child who does not even know what she is. Thus, it is inevitable that he will provide details about her in the future. He married Harriet Edwards, a City solicitor, in December 2019. He was involved in a relationship with former Conservative Home Secretary Amber Rudd.
Kwarteng coauthored several papers and books as a backbencher, including After the Coalition and Britannia Unchained. Kwarteng was nominated by Theresa May as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union in November 2018.
He was named Minister of State for Business, Energy and Clean Growth and attended Cabinet in July 2019, following Boris Johnson's election as Conservative Party leader and subsequent Prime Minister. Kwarteng was elected Secretary of State for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy in January 2021.
Following Johnson's resignation in 2022, he backed Liz Truss' campaign for Conservative Party leader. Kwarteng was named Chancellor of the Exchequer after Truss was chosen as Prime Minister. He was appointed, becoming the first person of colour to hold the position of Chancellor of the Exchequer.
He issued a "mini-budget" on September 23 that included a number of tax cuts, which received harsh criticism and briefly led the value of sterling against the US dollar to drop to its all-time low. The second-shortest Chancellor post-war, he was removed from office on October 14 after 38 days in office.
