John Legere is an American entrepreneur who has a net worth of $350 million.

As stated above, he made his wealth through his work with T-Mobile. He has been started to be responsible for the brand's un-carrier approach that does not use contracts for wireless networks.

Before that, he had worked for AT&T for over 20 years and was also the senior vice president for Dell. He has held various positions. It has been speculated that the man had a base annual salary of $1.5 million.

He also had a lot of bonuses and stock awards to look forward to. It has been stated that in 2017 his total compensation topped $23 million. The next year, he earned a total of $66.5 million, which made him one of the highest-paid CEOS in the entire world.

He has also made a lot of money from various other enterprises, such as his cookbook #SlowCookerSunday.

This book was hugely popular with the subtitle Leadership, Life and Slow Cooking with CEO and Chef John Legere. He released the book in 2018, and it even featured a foreword from Martha Stewart, a celebrity chef, and friend of the CEO.

As of 2020, with T-Mobile's merger with Sprint, John Legere saw a career-high total compensation of over $137.2 million.

With a net worth of over $350 million, that compensation is a third of his total career earnings. As he stepped down, the man was paid $27 million in salary and $100 million in severance. His career earnings are enough to last him a lifetime. 

Plus, according to the April 2020 SEC filing, he is the beneficial owner of 2.7 million shares of T-Mobile.

In 2020, those shares had a pre-tax market value of over $200 million. He is literally swimming in money, and that too, all from T-Mobile.

The amount of money he made from his time at Dell and AT&T is still unaccounted for.

 Now that John Legere has left his company, he hasn't done much of anything and is enjoying his retirement.

The 64-year-old's last venture was the aforementioned cookbook. Towards the end of his tenure at T-Mobile, he bought a sprawling $16.7 million mansion, but not much else has been heard about him since then.

He has kept quiet and away from the spotlight for much of his post-T-Mobile career. However, recently, he has made the news again by offering Elon Musk his services to run Twitter.

However, since he bought the company, he has messed up on many accounts and has alienated fans, users, and advertisement companies from the social media app.

Due to the controversy surrounding how he runs Twitter, Legere told Musk to hire him to run the company. He also joked that while his services would be expensive, so was what Musk initially paid to buy Twitter.

Though the services were offered in jest, Legere is a big enough name that carries a big enough weight that people can't help but talk about it.
