Who Is Jeremy Skibicki? 35 Year Old Arrested For Missing Rebecca Contois Murder

Jeremy Skibicki was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Wednesday. Officers issued a search warrant at his residence, which is located near the apartment complex.

Carver claimed that Contois and Skibicki knew each other. He went on to say that Contois was most likely murdered not long before her bones were discovered.

Investigators started searching the landfill on Monday and remained there until Thursday afternoon. Carver admitted that sourcing the landfill is challenging. 

Officers have executed a search warrant at the Skibickis's home, according to Carver, which is located near where Contois' corpse was discovered.

Rebecca Contois, 24, was identified as the victim during a news conference on Thursday. Jeremy Anthony Michael Skibicki, 35, was charged with first-degree murder. 

According to the authorities, he is still in jail. Investigators are also scouring the Brady Road dump, which is located just south of Winnipeg's Perimeter Highway, for a "possible scene."

Police claimed they were led to a landfill a "horrifically, gory scene" near an apartment building where the partial remains of a lady were discovered.

Jeremy Skibicki was apprehended at his residence on Edison Avenue, which is close to the crime scene, according to police.

At the news conference on Thursday, Winnipeg police family support and resource advocate Angie Tuesday said she had spoken with the victim's family, but they had requested privacy.

"They are going through a lot of grief at the moment," In addition, "They just wanted to tell the public that this was their girl," according to the Tuesday.
