Kehler was born on May 22, in the year 1946, and would have been 76 this year if he was alive. He was a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The actor was a part of several movies and TV series in the 1980s and 1990s. Some of his notable roles during the years were in Fresno, Strange Invaders, LA Law, and Hill Street Blues. He also co-starred with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze in the 1991 action film Point Break.
However, the actor's greatest ever role comes in the 1998 crime-comedy The Big Lebowski. There he played the character of Dude's landlord, Marty.
Another of Kehler's most well-known roles is as Jaheel in the first season episode "Babel" of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
