Simon Thomas is a Christian and he is very open about his faith and religion.

The sports presenter even opened the Christian Resources Exhibition South West at Exeter's Westpoint in February 2022.

Thomas, who had promised his first wife to never give up on his faith, is determinedly steady in his promise as noted in BBC. He strongly believes that his Christian faith gives him hope.

Simon Thomas initially dated his new wife Derrina Jebb for two years before eventually tying the knot in 2021.

What's more, in his wedding with Jebb, his 11-year old son became one of his two best men and the ceremony was held at Norwich Cathedral. 

Well, he involved himself in a marital matter four years after his first wife died as per The Metro.

Simon first got wedded with Gemma Thomas, who has deceased. He married his wife Jenna in 2005, who died young at just 40 years old. Similarly, he shares an only son called Ethan Thomas with Gemma. They were a happy family until the news of Jenna being diagnosed with leukemia came to know their door. And, in 2017, she surrendered to rare cancer known as AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) and left Simon and their son and bid her last farewell to the world.

And, the coincidence is his new wife Derrina is a Christian as well and as a man of faith, it created an important impact on him.

Simon Thomas's close family includes his parents and siblings aside from his new wife and son at present.

He is the son of his parents Gill Thomas and Andrew Thomas and his family also consists of his sister Becky Coman.
