Georgie Heath has come a far from a life filled with mental health issues from a young age. She was only 15 years old when she was suffering from anorexia.
The teenager was struggling to adjust to changes in her life made worse by her poor self-esteem. Thus, Georgia tried to cope by restricting her food intake. Her drastic weight reduction began to get noticed; hence her parents sought expert help.
Georgie was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, which she is still fighting. She credits sports and cricket as her escape way to flourish in life from such dark days.
Learning from her past days, the cricket podcast host has devoted her days to advocating for anorexia and mental health issues.

I nearly died from an eating disorder a few years ago. the day I went into hospital and had two drips in my arms, 24hour supervision, I tuned into @bbctms . I can honestly say it helped drag me through #MentalHealthMatters
Regarding her educational background, Georgie is a 2006 graduate of Bedford High School. Likewise, she also attended Wycombe Abbey School, where she was a part of the lacrosse, netball, tennis, swimming, athletics, football, and jazz band.
