Missing: Learn About Brittany Drexel Remains, Those Were Found
Brittany Drexel has been missing for 13 years since she was last seen near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Multiple searches in connection with the Drexel case were underway late Wednesday evening, according to these sources, which could lead to the finding of her remains.
The Georgetown sheriff's office, the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were involved in one of these searches, which took place in a wooded area west of Georgetown, South Carolina (FBI).
More than a decade ago, Moody was mentioned as a person of interest in the disappearance of Brittany. The Georgetown sheriff's office is withholding an incident report linked to Moody's arrest in addition to refusing to comment, a decision that has enraged local journalists and transparency activists.
