Who Is Rebecca Ruud?
Rebecca Rudd is a 39-year-old mother from Missouri who allegedly killed her 16-year-old autistic daughter.
Daughter Savannah Leckie moved in with Ruud at the woman's 81-acre farm after spending her formative years with her adopted parents in Minnesota.
As a young fireman, she was fondly remembered by her coworkers at the Theodosia Area Volunteer Fire Department, but her life with her biological mother was agony.
Rebecca Ruud was detained in July 2017 concerning the death of her daughter Savannah Leckie, who is accused of several crimes.
She is accused of first- and second-degree murder, child abuse or neglect, tampering with physical evidence, and abandoning a corpse, among other crimes.
Leckie allegedly vanished in Ozark County in July 2017, according to investigators.
