Who Is Ainura Toleuova? Miss Kazakhstan Scandal, What Really Happened?

Ainura Toleuova is Miss Kazakhstan World 2013. She is currently married to her husband and the mother of two kids.

Ainura was 18 years old at the time of her participation in the contest and was named Kazakhstan's official representative for the Miss World 2013 finals.

It was held on September 28, 2013, at the Sentul International Convention Center in Sentul, Bogor, West Java, and the Nusa Dua Complex in Bali, Indonesia.

The event was hosted in Southeast Asia for the first time in the pageant's history. In the event, Yu Wenxia of China crowned her successor Megan Young of the Philippines, making the Philippines the only country to have won the Miss World title.

According to Universalqueen, she was Miss Kazakhstan 2011 and was slated to participate in Miss Universe that year, but dropped out at the last minute.

She enrolled in Taldykorgan University's Journalism School, but six months later transferred to Almaty's Symbat Academy. There she changed her major to clothing design.

Ainur was meant to represent Kazakhstan at Miss World 2012, however, because she was just 17 years old last year, she was unable to compete.

Ainura Toleuova does not appear to be involved in the Miss Kazakhstan Scandal video. The controversial video was released after a 22-year-old fashion model, despite being a guy, advanced to the finals of Miss Virtual Kazakhstan in 2018.

People on Twitter and Reddit couldn't stop talking about the controversy and blaming the organizers for their mistakes.

Arina Aliyeva, actual name Ilay Dyagilev, advanced to the finals of the online-only competition after receiving over 2,000 public votes for his photo.

Aliyeva was dubbed 'Miss Virtual Shymkent,' the capital of the South Kazakhstan Region, for reaching this level. Her reign was short-lived, as organizers disqualified her "for giving untrustworthy information about herself."

Aikerim Temirkhanova, who garnered 1,975 votes, won the regional championship and a spot in the national final.

Dyagilev came out two days after the final to confess he was not a woman, claiming the persona of Arina Aliyeva was "a construct of my team."

"Many girls believe that beauty is everything, and that being attractive is a difficult task," Dyagilev added. "However, I contended with my pals that even a male may pass for a lovely woman.

"I've worked in the fashion industry since I was 17 years old, appearing as a model and generating photos. I can quickly morph, and with the help of a photographer, hairdresser, and makeup artist, Arina's picture was complete.

Ainura Toleuova, a former Miss Kazakhstan world in 2013 is 1.73m (5.6feet) tall. She was just 18 when she was crowned, and she has since reached the age of around 27 years.
